You can install the Bluetooth -> Wifi proxy which works great with Home Assistant here: https://esphome.io/projects/index.html
It uses webserial to program the device directly from the website (as long as you’re using chrome).
This seems to be a much more robust solution compared to Bluetooth Radio.
